Specialties we bill
We stay inside office-based care: primary care and internal medicine, urgent care, and mental and behavioral health. The notes are ones we can read, and the denials are ones we know how to route.
Billing for primary care and internal medicine
Family medicine and internal medicine are mostly office visits, a short list of procedures, and a long relationship with the same patients. The billing has to keep up with that without a billing department in the back.
Billing for urgent care
Urgent care is volume. A clinic can see more patients in a weekend than a primary care office sees in a week. Billing has to keep the same pace, or the accounts receivable is already old on Monday.
Billing for mental and behavioral health
A behavioral health practice bills time, diagnosis, and often an authorization for the next block of sessions. The note has to support the code, and the claim has to carry the approval number.
