Free medical billing audit
Type last month’s totals. The calculator compares them with MedFlow targets and estimates what excess denials may still be worth. Then ask us to review the practice for free. Do not enter patient names or any patient information.
Where the benchmarks come from
- Denial rate under 8% of adjudicated claims. MedFlow target. Same definition as the product: denied claims divided by claims the payer has paid or denied. Rejections are not denials.
- Days in A/R under 35. MedFlow target. Open balances divided by average daily charges.
- Net collection of 95% or more of allowed amounts. MedFlow target. The calculator cannot compute that, because it does not ask for contractual adjustments. It shows a rougher gap against 95% of charges and says so.
None of these numbers is a published percentile from MGMA, HFMA or CMS. They are the targets MedFlow uses when we bill a practice. The denial estimate counts half of the charge dollars above the 8% line as still recoverable. That half is an assumption, labeled here so you can ignore it.

Estimated revenue left on the table
$2,400 a month in excess denials
Your denial rate is above the MedFlow target of 8%. This figure is half of the charge dollars above that line. It is a screen, not an audit. Many of those dollars are contractual or already worked.
$44,000 gap versus collecting 95% of charges. MedFlow target for true net collection is 95% of allowed amounts. This calculator does not ask for contractual adjustments, so this gap overstates leakage when your fees are higher than the allowed amount.
$52,000 of charges sitting past 35 days in A/R. That is cash tied up, not money already lost. MedFlow target: under 35 days.
